Prayer praises and requests for NW IL FCA will be listed here. We thank you for your support of FCA and ask that you be in prayer for our staff, board, and volunteers who serve the coaches and athletes within our 23-county area.
STAFF
Pray for more FCA staffers that can serve locally for 3 Rivers FCA, specifically in Rock Island County, Knox County, and in the Sauk Valley area.
Pray for current staff that are stretched thin as we continue to serve the many avenues of FCA programming that are already in place for coaches and athletes.
Pray for continued resources and funding to keep the local FCA missionary staff and the FCA staff across Illinois going so that they can continue to disciple and pour into people through the ministry.
PEOPLE
Pray for students that have given their lives to Christ over the last 4 months at FCA camps, Fields of Faith, and at the local huddle level.
Pray for more board members that are passionate about the ministry and want to support the minister in the Pray, Serve, Give categories as we look to add members from Rock Island, Knox, Bureau, Lee, and Carroll Counties.
Pray for more volunteers to help serve the existing FCA programming and to help grow the ministry in avenues that are not currently being served.
ACTIVITIES
Prayer over NW IL FCA upcoming events:
- GPA Night of Champions with Daryl Strawberry on Sunday, October 4th.
- Northern IL FCA Banquet in Rockford on Saturday, November 7th.
- 3 Rivers FCA Coaches Timeout at TPC Deere Run in Silvis on Saturday, November 14th - This is a special night for coaches to get away with their spouse and enjoy a meal on FCA. Erik Dykstra will be our guest speaker.
- Pray for the current active local huddles and programming.
- Pray for the 3 Rivers Bible Drive as we continue to distribute them throughout our area. We need funding help this year and praise God that we were able to hand out about 1,000 Bibles last year.
